慈善憲章¹

 

柏臻慈善信託致力為香港的慢性淋巴細胞白血病(CLL)患者提供財政支援，並促進CLL的教育。我們主要通過本網站向大衆募捐款項，以支持我們倡議的CLL及相關的慈善目標。以下的八大原則充分反映在日常慈善工作的運作中：

 

原則 1：透明度

我們致力於確保所有籌款活動的透明度。我們將向捐助人和公眾提供清晰、準確、及時的慈善活動和善款使用情況信息。

 

原則 2：開具收據

我們將為所有能確認身份的捐助人（包括個人、企業和基金會）開具捐款金額的正式收據。我們設定自動開具收據的最低金額。

 

原則 3：披露募捐目的

對於所有籌款活動，我們均披露本信託的名稱和向公衆募捐的目的。我們的網站和其他聯繫信息會清楚顯示。

 

原則 4：捐助人的權利

我們尊重捐助人獲得真實信息和私隱的權利。我們致力負責任地管理捐助人委託我們處理的善款，並準確、完整地報告我們的財務狀況。

 

原則 5：處理查詢

我們承諾及時、公平地處理捐助人或準捐助人的任何疑問或疑慮。

 

原則 6：遵守法規

我們將遵守所有相關的指引，法規和法律。

 

原則 7：財政問責

我們確保所有善款均用於支持香港慢性淋巴細胞白血病CLL患者和/或患有相關疾病的患者的慈善目標。我們承諾定期編制財務報告並向公眾提供。

 

原則 8：定期更新

我們將不斷更新網站和其他溝通資料，以反映香港CLL病友群體的當前需求。

 

柏臻慈善信託承諾在執行我們的慈善目標時堅持這8大原則。我們的使命是支援和改善香港慢性淋巴細胞白血病病友的生活質素，促進香港社會公眾對預防和治療CLL 的認識和教育。

 

¹ 依照柏臻慈善信託的自身運作情況，慈善憲章的八大原則乃根據以下政府部門所發出的指引而制定：(1) 慈善機構及慈善活動的管理 ;（2）慈善籌款良好實務指引；以及（3）屬公共性質的慈善機構及信託團體的稅務指南。

 

Charity Charter ¹

 

Cypress Charitable Trust is dedicated to providing both monetary and educational support to Chronic Lymphocytic Leukemia (CLL) patients in Hong Kong according to our advocated CLL and related charitable objects mainly through public donations collected via our website. The following principles are fully reflected in daily operations and practices:

 

Principle 1: Transparency

 

We are committed to ensuring transparency in all our fundraising activities. We will provide clear, accurate, and timely information to donors and the public about our charitable activities and the use of donations.

 

Principle 2: Receipts Issuance

 

We will issue official receipts for all identified donors (including individuals, corporations, and foundations) for the donated amount. We set a minimum amount for the automatic issuance of a receipt.

 

Principle 3: Disclosure of Fundraising Appeals

 

For all fundraising activities conducted by or on behalf of Cypress Charitable Trust, we will disclose the name of our charity and the purpose of the fundraising appeal in our website and all materials seeking donations.

 

Principle 4: Donors' Rights

 

We respect donors' rights to truthful information and privacy. We are committed to managing responsibly the funds that donors entrust to us and to reporting our financial affairs accurately and completely.

 

Principle 5: Handling Queries

 

We promise to deal promptly and fairly with any queries or concerns from donors or prospective donors.

 

Principle 6: Compliance with Regulations

 

We will comply with all relevant good practices, guidance notes, local regulations and laws.

 

Principle 7: Financial Accountability

 

We ensure that all funds are used for the intended purpose of supporting CLL patients and/or patients with related diseases in Hong Kong. We commit to preparing financial reports regularly and making them available to the public.

 

Principle 8: Regular Updates

 

We will keep our website and other communication materials updated to reflect the prevailing needs of the CLL patient community in Hong Kong.

 

Cypress Charitable Trust pledge to uphold these 8 principles in executing our charitable objects. We ask for your support and understanding in our mission to improve the quality of lives of those battling CLL in Hong Kong and to promote public awareness and education in the community of Hong Kong of the prevention and treatment of CLL and/or related diseases.
