本人家族有抗擊慢性淋巴細胞白血病 (CLL) 的病史。 本人深知這場沉重的抗癌鬥爭是漫長，困難而且代價不菲的。因爲當您患有慢性淋巴細胞白血病時，您可能會出現多次復發，您可能需要更多治療來控制這種慢性血癌，以便醫生能夠確定治療方法，餘生很大可能與難纏的CLL 共存。 個人觀察到香港社會對CLL這種每年爲數約幾百宗新個案的慢性血癌認知和給予的支援都有所不足。2023年4月，柏臻慈善信託獲得政府根據稅務條例第88條批准成為認可慈善信託，相信是首個支援慢性淋巴細胞白血病病友爲核心宗旨的慈善團體。雖然一開始只能以個人微薄積蓄贊助信託運作，但是本人決心在有限的能力範圍來盡一點綿力向社會提供CLL即時現金支援和開展認識CLL的相關教育，包括網站上刊登最新CLL研究成果和舉辦免費研討會等。 本人從零開始獨力創辦柏臻慈善信託，衷心希望讓 CLL 病友和家人知道，他們永不孤獨。儘管目前能即時支援每位CLL病友的金額確實很小，但在未來的日子配合其他社會的支援，期盼可以為病友提供一點精神支持並把康莊的康復之路燃亮。 本網站以病友爲中心（patient-centric) 致力成為本地有關慢性淋巴細胞白血病 CLL 資訊基地(hub)，幫助香港社會理解 CLL這個慢性血癌，為每一位病友和家屬打氣，本信託願意成爲大家走過康復之路的中途站，也讓香港市民知悉最新的 CLL 範疇的發展和相關研究。

My family has a struggling history of fighting against Chronic Lymphocytic Leukemia (CLL). I am well aware that this heavy-hearted battle against cancer is long, difficult and costly because when you have chronic lymphocytic leukemia, you may have multiple relapses, and you may need more treatments to keep this chronic blood cancer under control so your doctor can work out which treatments work best for you, and it is highly likely that you may live with difficult CLL for the rest of your life. I personally observe that the Hong Kong society has insufficient awareness and concrete support for CLL, a chronic blood cancer type with about hundreds of new cases every year. In April 2023, Cypress Charitable Trust was approved by the government as a recognized charitable trust under Section 88 of the Inland Revenue Ordinance. It is believed to be the first charitable organization whose core purpose is to support patients affected by chronic lymphocytic leukemia. Although I could only sponsor the operation of the trust with my meager personal savings at the beginning, I am determined to do my best to provide CLL instant cash support to the society and carry out education related to CLL, including publishing the latest CLL research results on the website and organizing free seminars and more. I started Cypress Charitable Trust from scratch, and sincerely hope to let CLL patients and their families know that they are never alone. Although the current amount of immediate support for each CLL patient is indeed tiny small, in the future, with the support of other social resources, I hope we could provide at least some spiritual support for the CLL patients and light the road to recovery ahead. This charitable website is patient-centric and is committed to becoming a local CLL aid and information hub about CLL, helping Hong Kong society understand CLL, and cheering for every CLL patient and family member we can get in touch with. This is a half-way station on the road to recovery, and it also allows Hong Kong citizens to learn about the latest developments and related research in the field of CLL.

慈善服務主要目標：
1. 通過發布相關慢性淋巴細胞白血病（“CLL”）最新信息和組織公衆研討會等為緩解疾病和促進健康，造福香港社會，促進香港社會公眾對預防和治療CLL和/或相關疾病的認識和教育。
2. 透過公眾募捐以即時現金支持的形式為 CLL 患者和/或其他可能不符合或無法獲得其他經濟援助的相關疾病患者提供即時救濟。
3. 通過向具有與上述慈善目標類以的相關組織 和個人 提供經濟援助，為了香港社區公共利益，來進一步實現上述慈善目標。

The key charitable objects are:
1. For the relief of sickness and for advancement of health for the benefit of the Hong Kong community, to promote public awareness and education in the community of Hong Kong of the prevention and treatment of Chronic Lymphocytic Leukemia ("CLL") and/or related diseases by publication of relevant up-to-date information and organising public seminars.
2. In furtherance of the above Charitable Objects, through public donations, provide instant relief in the form of monetary support for the needs of CLL patients and/or patients with related diseases for which other financial assistance may not be applicable or readily available.
3. To further the Charitable Objects above by providing financial assistance to relevant organizations having objects similar to the above Charitable Objects and individuals for the public benefit of the Hong Kong community,
